Hi! My name's Anna, and I’m so glad you’re here on this journey with me!
Like most others, I discovered this craft through quarantine and I just knew I had to adopt this as one of my favorite hobbies. Before the clay earring boom, I saw a couple videos on Pinterest, quickly bought supplies, and then left the sack sitting in my closet floor for about a month. If you know anything about me, you know I have always loved crafting - and I’ve done it a lot! Between knitting, embroidery, making pom poms and countless other things, my crafting plate has always been pretty full. So - fast forward a month after I bought all the supplies and didn’t immediately act on my great gusto for a new project. I had just awoken from a nap and was taking a short stroll through Instagram when I saw two whole clay earrings businesses pop up within 50 miles of me. Needless to say, that was enough to make me hop up right then and there and make my first batch.
I spent a few weeks wrestling with God about whether I should actually pursue this, and fighting feelings that there wasn't enough room for me in an already populated market. But time and time again, God would remind me, "what are you doing this for?" and my passion behind this pursuance took higher priority than my fleeting feelings, every time.
God took that lesson, and the voices of my mom and brother, to give me the name of this adventure - Just Anna. That's all this is - just Anna chasing a goal to sell earrings and make a difference, little by little. No one extraordinary, no one too flamboyant, just Anna. Just who God made me to be, doing what he made me to do.
God has called you and I to be the hands and feet of Jesus and that’s exactly what we’ll be through this. Whether that’s keeping someone’s heat turned on, paying for their groceries, helping someone fix a flat tire, or buying presents for a six year olds birthday party. Whatever it looks like, wherever God leads.
Welcome along :)
